Lighthouse Explorer’s Club

Join us for Lighthouse Explorer’s Club on the second Saturday of each month! Explorers of all ages will discover a unique hands-on activity along with learning a piece of fascinating history. You’ll explore monthly family-focused themes.

November: Seminole Tribe of Florida Families
Explore the different roles that children, adults, and elders had in a traditional Seminole Tribe family during the late 1800s in Florida. Learn about Seminole patchwork patterns and then practice creating your own patchwork to take home.

With general admission, families are welcome to visit the Lighthouse and all exhibits on site at their own pace in addition to participating in Lighthouse Explorer’s Club. Activities end by 1:00 PM.

Children must:
-be at least 48” to climb the Lighthouse but those who do not meet this height requirement will be admitted for free and can still participate in all craft and activities. Children must
-be accompanied by adults throughout their visit and adults will be expected to supervise children during activities.

Cost: This program is included with general admission $12 adults, $6 children ages 6-18, Free: age 5 & under, Lighthouse members & active-duty military. Tickets are limited, and online registration is required.
