High school and college students who are interested in history, museum science, public relations and public service or who need high school community service hours should apply. Opportunities are available for Lighthouse Tour Guide, Tindall Pioneer Home Guide, Gift Shop, and Weddings.
School Year Student Tour Guide
Perfect for students who are looking for a 9-12 month opportunity to help in the community. Shifts are Saturday or Sunday, 10am-2pm or 1pm-5pm.
Bi-Monthly Student Tour Guide
Ideal for students who have other obligations but can commit to 2 weekends per month. Students work every other weekend throughout the year.
Summer Student Tour Guide
High school students who are available to volunteer during summer break are welcome to apply for our summer student volunteer program. These volunteers work at least 2 shifts, (8 hours per week) for 13 weeks. Shifts run from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Super Star volunteers may be asked to continue their volunteer service in the fall.
Internship Program
Exceptional students who have successfully completed the student volunteer program may be eligible to apply for a paid Internship. Eligible internship periods are summer, fall, and spring. Ask about eligibility requirements.
