All-Day Homeschool Adventures at the Lighthouse

Drop-Off Program for Grades 4–7

Turn a school day into an unforgettable adventure! Held one Thursday each month from September through May, this full-day program invites homeschool students to learn, explore, and create through themed lessons, hands-on activities, art, nature journaling, and guided hikes, all beneath the iconic Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. Designed for homeschool students in grades 4–7, this full-day program brings history to life through themed lessons, art projects, nature journaling, and guided trail exploration against the inspiring backdrop of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Registration for Semester 1 closes September 1, 2026.

 

 Schedule & Cost

  • Located at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum,
    from 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Offered once a month, September through May
  • Split into two semesters
  • Semester 1 Dates:
    September 10, October 22, November 12, December 10 — $300
  • Semester 2 Dates:
    January 14, February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13 — $325
  • A multiple-student discount is available upon request

Each Month Includes:

  • Lessons from 50 True Tales from Our Great National Parks
  • A Project-Based Lesson (PBL)
  • A monthly themed activity
  • A read-aloud lesson
  • An art project
  • Nature journaling
  • A hike along the nature trail

Who Can Attend

  • Open to homeschool students in grades 4–7
  • Homeschool families are welcome to visit the Jupiter Lighthouse together

Height Requirement

  • Children must be at least 48 inches (4 feet) tall to climb the Lighthouse
  • Children who don’t yet meet the height requirement are still welcome to participate in all other Homeschool Drop-Off activities
