Veteran’s Event-Five Flags Over Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse

Free for Veteran’s and their families! Join us first for a light breakfast, the raising of the US Flag, and singing of the National Anthem. Special Keynote speaker Captain Jo-Ann F. Burdian, Sector Miami Commander, USCG. Josh Liller, Lighthouse Historian, will present a history of all 5 military branches active at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. will conclude the presentations. Veteran’s and their families are invited to climb the Lighthouse & experience military pop-up exhibits throughout the grounds. All Veterans will leave with a token of our appreciation.
We’ll be joined by the Elliott Museum, Reverence Riders Veterans Motorcycle Association, Road to Victory Museum-WWII reenactors, Jensen Beach High School Jubilate Choir, US Naval Sea Cadets Corps, Union Navy Civil War reenactors, FishingCommunity.org, US Coast Guard: Aids-To-Navigation Team Ft. Pierce & Station Lake Worth.

Every Veteran will receive a Token of Appreciation, including hand-made cards from Martin County School Students
For the safety of all visitors, masks are recommended indoors and in busy outdoor areas where social distancing is not possible.
10:00AM-2:00PM pop-up exhibits:
-Military history and artifacts in Quarterdeck room at the Museum (West End)
-Elliott Museum will be displaying artifacts from the House of Refuge, and in partnership with the Reverence Riders Veterans Motorcycle Association will bring a display on The Vietnam & War On Terrorism Memorial Wall
-Military Vehicles on display from Road To Victory Museum -WWII reenactors will be in front of Lighthouse
-Union Navy Civil War reenactors will have two dog tents and the fly, as well as artifacts. They will also pass out Civil War Trail Book produced by the state of Florida.

-US Naval Sea Cadet Corps will be having a line heaving exhibition and challenge as well as a knot-tying station
-US Coast Guard Station Lake Worth
-US Coast Guard Station, ANT Fort Pierce servicemen & women will be bringing their Trailable Aids to Navigation Boat (TANB) along with a display table.
