Sensory Sensitive Mornings
April 24 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This program is a sensory friendly outdoor experience for children on the autism spectrum and with sensory sensitivities, as well as their families and caregivers. Closed to the public on Mondays, our site is a relaxed environment for attendees to engage in a hands-on activity, learn history and enjoy an optional climb of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. Each month features a new activity which can be completed with assistance from staff and volunteers or taken home. Quiet spaces are provided for those with extra sensitivities.
Children must be accompanied by adults throughout their visit, and we ask that adults supervise children during activities. Families are welcome to climb to the top of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse during Sensory Sensitive Mornings. Children must be at least 48” tall to climb the Lighthouse.
Cost: $5.00 per person or free with Family membership (5 and under free)
Location: Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum, 500 Captain Armour’s Way, Jupiter, FL
