Take It Outside!
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area is part of the National Landscape Conservation System, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Dept. of the Interior. The BLM's Take It Outside program promotes and supports outdoor activities and experiences of children on public lands. The program strives to improve the health of our nation's children, families and communities, while at the same time developing the next generation of public land stewards.

On June 1, First Lady Michelle Obama launched Let’s Move Outside, a component of Let’s Move!, her nationwide campaign to end childhood obesity within a generation. Led by the Departments of the Interior (DOI) and Agriculture (USDA), Let’s Move Outside is a coordinated effort to get kids and families moving in America’s great outdoors.
