Festival of Trees - Third Annual Celebration

11/21, 10am-9pm, 11/22, 10am-5pm, 11/23, 11am-5pm 

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and the Town of Jupiter presents the third annual Holiday Festival of Trees. Free Admission. View and purchase dazzling and uniquely decorated artificial holiday trees, table top trees, wreaths and floral arrangements.  Kids can visit with Santa! Enjoy holiday performances by schools and community groups. All proceeds benefit the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum.

Hike Through History

Nov 1, 8am-10am

Discover the topography and natural history of Jupiter’s National Conservation Lands historic site. This 2 mile trek passes through historic points of interest on the 120 acre Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area.  The hike departs from the flag pole at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and is weather dependent. Program is open to adults and children –minimum age 5, ages 13 & under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old. Recommended: hikers footwear, active wear, a hat, and a full water bottle or canteen. Admission is free but space is limited- RSVP required 561-747-8380 x101. 

 

Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts for Kids

Nov 4, Starts promptly 10:30am, please arrive at 10:15am for checkin.

Attention Kids: Join us under the Lighthouse Chickee for storytime & craft activity about Lighthouse Keepers, Florida History and People & local Plants and Animals. Moms & Dads, this is ideal for kids ages 8 and under. Please bring a small mat or blanket for your child. Program is free and space is limited, runs approximately 45 minutes. Please RSVP to 561-747-8380 x101.

 

Lighthouse Coffee & Book Club

Nov 5, 6-7 pm     "Maria" by Eugenia Price

Read and discuss books on all things Florida-fiction and non-fiction! Whether the subject is history, person of influence or special place or time, learn more about the Sunshine State in our monthly book club. The Lighthouse Book Club meets the first Wednesday of every month in the Museum Café. Coffee, Tea & Refreshments available for purchase. If book is sold in our gift shop, a discount may be offered to Book Club participants.  Location: Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, 500 Captain Armour’s Way, Jupiter. Donation Suggested. Twilight Yoga at the Light

Nov 3, 10, 17, 24  @ 6:00 pm 

Experience the serenity of Yoga with Mary Veal, Kula Yoga Shala, on the Lighthouse deck at Sunset! Every Monday (time will vary monthly based on sunset.)  This is an all levels class and beginners are welcomed and encouraged! Offered by donation. Bring a yoga mat and a flashlight. Check in at the back porch of the Lighthouse Museum 15 minutes prior to start time, class is weather dependent-please check website for updates and future start times. 

 

Lighthouse Sunset Tour

Nov 7, 12 Call for tour time

Take in the spectacular views and witness the Jupiter Light turning on to illuminate the night sky. Visitors get an inside look at the nuts & bolts of a working lighthouse watchroom. Tour time approximately 75 minutes, $15 Members, $20 Non-members, RSVP required, 561-747-8380 x101. Tours are weather permitting. Children minimum 48" tall to climb tower, no flip-flops on tour.

 

Lighthouse Moonrise Tour

Nov 6, 4:45pm

A howling good time and spectacular evening view of a full moon from the top of the tower! Tour time approximately 75 minutes, $15 Members, $20 Non-Members, RSVP required, 561-747-8380 x101. Tours are weather permitting, call for tour time.  Children must be  accompanied by an adult and  be at least 4’ tall to climb.
